What Should We Get Our Real Estate Attorney (distant Family Member Who Refused Compensation) As A Thank You?
We just bought a house – private sale. There was no Realtor involved on either side. We used a distant family member (my boyfriend’s 2nd cousin) as our real estate attorney and he helped us with the purchase agreement, paperwork, title insurance, etc. He refused payment/compensation. However, we want to get him something to say “thanks”. We just closed about a month ago and will see him over the holidays. What should we do to say “thanks”?
